You can’t transition or ‘migrate’ from one to the other any longer. AT&T and DIRECTV are now two separate companies.
You’ll have to cancel U-verse by calling AT&T (800-288-2020). From there, you can sign up as a new customer with DIRECTV STREAM. Use a different email address if you are having trouble signing up with the one you use for U-verse
