Channels slow to load on Roku ultra
I’ve had Directv stream since February worked great until a couple weeks ago, my router quit and my ISP installed a new one, different brand than the first one, since then when you open it on the roku it is slow to load, 10-20 seconds until I see a picture, same thing when changing channels, with the old router everything was just about instantly, worked with my ISP and they have changed some settings on my router but it didn’t help, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, updated software, unplugged and restarted everything and still no change, ISP suggested hard wiring Roku to router.

Connecting the Roku directly to your internet router with an Ethernet cable might help. Have you measured your download speed via WiFi at the Roku? Perhaps the new router's WiFi signal is slower?

Wi-Fi at roku is 80Mbps, would a Firestick be any better?
