Hit the voice button and say "captions on"
Or....hit the "ok" button then go down and choose "cc/audio"

Welcome to DIRECTV, @yodels. Here's how you can turn on closed captioning on your Gemini device:
1. Press Home on the Gemini remote.
2. Go to Settings > Systems > and Device Preferences.
3. Choose Accessibility.
4. Select Captioning and then Display to turn on or off.
