cloud dvr fast forward return setting
When i fast forward thru commercials on my cloud dvr when it comes back it goes forward on the recording. How do i change that if you can? I would like it to go back 10 seconds

Please explain a bit more. You fast forward through commercials but end up 10 seconds ahead of where you need to be? Simply press the rewind button until you are 10 seconds behind. To confirm, what streaming device are you using?

Hi I am using Roku. I can rewind when the commercial ends. However when using other services in the past when you hit play from fast forward it would rewind a little. It would be nice if direct tv cloud could do this. Not a huge deal but it does go forward some so it should be able to be set to go back.

I recall when I first switched to DirecTV stream it would jump back a few seconds after fast forwarding, but that went away at some point (I am also using a Roku). This issue it sounds like you are seeing is that fast forward does not actually align with the actual playback. For some reason it is behind a number of seconds so that when you play, it actually jumps forward in the playback. At one point it was really bad, like a minute or two difference between the fast forward and playback. Now it just seems to be ten or so seconds, but yes it would be nice if it went back not forward. Also this behavior does not seem to happen on every channel or show, sometimes playback will start exactly when fast forward ends.
