Commercials cause severe lagging on Amazon fire stick 4k
Whenever a commercial comes on, the sound and picture begin lagging incredibly. The program we are watching is usually fine. This only happens on the Firestick. Using other TV’s that have the app (without a fire stick) there is no problem. Internet speed and connectivity are fine. I’ve done all the listed steps to clear/uninstall, etc. problem persists. What next? Please help.

@JetBoy yes that is definitely an issue with your Fire Stick, which buffers and has trouble properly loading commercials and other content. My recommendation would be to try out the actual DIRECTV STREAM box, which has way better performance, speed, and optimization for the streaming of live content. You can also try getting a newer Fire Stick or similar streaming device. However, stay away from any smart TVs with the DIRECTV STREAM app. They will perform even worse.
