Delete series

I set a series to record before the new season starts. Now it is recording tons of old episodes and I want to cancel the series. Canceling one of the recorded episodes does not cancel the series. How can I cancel the series? Help! This is driving me crazy. :-)

Thank you, Jrandomuser!!! Your response is spot on. I need to delete a SERIES, not a single recording. On DIRECT STREAM. I've been asking for weeks now and get nowhere with the support people. So I guess I will spend my time manually canceling 10 to 20 individual shows every day. Very frustrating and disappointing.

To delete a recording may be frustrating. However, you can only delete one recording at a time, not the entire series. To know more about recordings please visit Record and watch shows with cloud DVR | DIRECTV Customer Service & Support

Finally! A direct answer, "However, you can only delete one recording at a time." Thank you. This is something that MUST be fixed.  Other options  that need to be added  are (1) choose the network to use for recording a series and (2) the ability to edit the options chosen when setting up a new series to record.  Example: I accidentally choose "all" instead of "new" and need to correct this. Or are we all simply stuck forever manually deleting all the reruns?  Not acceptable.
