Direct Stream problems

I have Direct Stream, and it’s been getting worse every day. For no reason, we’ll lose the volume, or the volume goes up so high, that the only way you can correct it, is to switch to another channel, then switch back.  For the last 10 days, we didn’t have access to Direct Stream at times.  I had to delete the App, the add the App back in again. Says the Internet signal is excellent.  My brother in law switched providers a while ago, then added an HD antenna for the local channels.  Right now, we’re thinking about doing the same.  As a note, I also have Netflix, Hulu, etc. No problems ever with those streaming services.

What streaming device do you have? What’s your upload and download speeds? Does this occur on specific channels or ALL? What about on-demand content, does it also have this issue?
