Direct tv app for ipad not working

The app just quit working on my ipad. Direct tv interface loads and I can pick different stuff from the guide but nothing plays . Playback on the storage isn’t working either . I’ve tried everything that customer support has to offer and non of it works . I stream other platforms just fine so I don’t think it has anything to do with my wireless provider . Can anyone help?

So, oddly enough I took my iPad into my house and connected to my wifi and everything works fine . Disconnect from my wifi and connected to my wireless carrier and it’s now working fine … not sure how that fixed it but it did . Thank you everyone for your suggestions and help!

What have you tried so far?  Typically simply deleting and reinstalling the App will fix this sort of issue.

Deleted the app and reinstalled it . Restarted my iPad . Still not working

Very puzzling. I have that exact iPad Pro and iOS 17.1 with no issues. Let us know if you figure it out.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app 5 times with no change . I have the latest iOS version on my device and it still won’t work. The app loads and I can the guide for live tv but when I select a show I get a blue loading line and then eventually an error code that something went wrong . Won’t play back anything from the DVR recordings either . I have the same app on my phone and it works fine . My wireless provider for both devices is AT&T.

To troubleshoot, take your iPad to a Starbucks or McDonald's,etc and see if the content loads. If so, we can rule out any internet connection issues.

Just tells you that it has nothing to do with the app. It works!

I think it def had to do with the app and needing to be rest through the wifi but either way it’s fixed

Trying to open the app on my iPad. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. The message says we ran into an issue. Something went wrong on our end. Please try again. I do and it still doesn’t work. Suggestions? Please?
