Direct TV App not loading on Roku TV

For the past week, when I try to access the direct tv stream app on my tv, there's just a continuous spinning circle and then it closes me out of the app. I have removed the channel and re-installed it several times, restarted my router, did a system restart and even tried clearing the cache from the tv and nothing is working. I even did a factory reset as a last resort and it logged me out of every other app on my tv except the Direct Tv app. I can log into direct tv fine on my laptop but it is not working at all on the tv. It just keeps spinning. Any other help is needed or else I will cancel this subscription.
