Direct TV stream app on 2 different TVs in the same house has different available channels.

On the same network, same account.  One TV gets channels the other doesn't. My Samsung from 83 to the next available channel- 202.  My other TV has a few channels in the 100's.  Why would there be differences between two TVs in the same house on the same network?

The only channels currently in the 100s are the “special” 4K channels. Those are only available using a streaming device that can do 4K and when it is connected to a TV that can display 4K.  Except for that case, those channels won’t show up in the program guide and cannot be displayed. So if you have one 4K TV and one that isn’t, that would explain why one gets those channels and the other doesn’t.

(And it would seem @DIRECTVhelp should be aware of this.)

@Jrandomuser thank you and that makes sense but, they are both 4K capable.  The one without the 4K channels is a Samsung Q60B QLED 4K. I will post pics of the guides tomorrow.

Not all devices that support the Stream service have been made compatible with the new 4K channels yet. I believe Android TV devices (like the Nvidia Shield and probably Sony Bravia TVs) aren’t, and it would not surprise me if that’s true of Samsung TVs also. I think DTV has indicated that it is their intent that eventually all supported (4K) devices will be made compatible, but they won’t provide a schedule for when that will happen.
