Direct TV Stream Guide issues

Welp, contrary to my post of just a day ago, the channel logos have once again disappeared.  At this juncture, it's clearly either an Amazon or ATT problem.  It works on Roku just fine, so it would seem to suggest an Amazon app issue.  Final step I just did was clear the cache on the app, did a force stop, and then relaunched the app.  All the channel logos reappeared.  Not sure what is causing them to disappear in the first place.

In any event, for those who are still missing the channel logos using the Firestick, perhaps try clearing the cache on the app, force stop, and then relaunch.  It worked for me today.  Tomorrow's another day.

First a.m. the logos were there on initial app startup in a couple weeks. Possible fix? We'll see. 

Spoke too soon, logos disappeared again. Exit and re-enter and voila, they are back.

You have to exit the app from the exit screen--that's what the issue is. Just hit the back button 1 or 2 times until the exit screen comes up. Then when use the app again there isn't a logo issue. That's why most of us aren't having the problem. If you are watching Dtv stream app and just hit the home button or whatever on your firestick app and don't properly exit the app that logo problem happens. This isn't a software issue---it's a user issue b/c some of you aren't exiting the app properly.

It is not an user issue. When it has to be done on a daily basis it either Amazon's or DTVS's glitch to fix.

Well I still have not seen the issue on any of my Fire Sticks.

@bcbsncjlj  When you want to quit the app how do you do it? Do you hit the back button on the firestick remote then hit exit on the popup ---or do you just hit the home button on the firestick remote to get out of the app?

Home usually. I am beginning to question rather the packages may be involved with the issue. Since I have a original package that was discontined a few years ago. Or possibly the account - since I use a user name and not a email address. Either way all 3 of my Fire devices are fine and I have never seen the issue.

All I know is when I tried to re-create the glitch I used the home button to get out of the app, then each and every time the logos didn't appear next time I went to the guide after starting up the app. -----Every time I used the back button on the firestick remote to get the Dtv stream app exit popup screen to appear and exited that way----the logos always appeared next time in the guide.

Who knows. I have been swapping devices watching and exiting most of the day trying to create the issue. Nothing here. All though it seems bad by the posts there are tens of thousands that have not posted anything.

Harmony hub shuts all down. 

Logos missing now. As stated in earlier post exit the app then re-enter and voila logos there.

When you use the Harmony to get out of the app does the Dtv app's popup screen come up asking if you are sure you want to exit the Directv stream app? Or does it just go to the firestick home screen. If you aren't getting that popup and exiting the app properly that's when the logos disappear next time you access the app.

How did you replicate the case of the missing logos?

I already included that in my replies. I hit the home button on the firestick remote while using the Dtv stream app----which took me to the firestick home screen. Restarted the Dtv stream app--went to the guide---and the logos were missing. This was based on a hunch I had based on, in the past, I've accidentally hit the home button while using the dtv stream app and other apps. Then when going back to the apps they are glitchy. So, today, I purposely hit the home button while using the app then restarted the app, and sure enough--glitch with the logos.

Why does the problem come back sometimes in the same day?
