DirectTV Streaming application on Firestick Feature Enhancements
The following are a list of requested features to increase the functionality of the Direct TV streaming application on a Amazon Firestick or FireTV
| Return to live tv after recording | When recording ending after the option to delete or don't delete the watch live feature not working |
| Rewind live tv | When watching live tv no ability to rewind should have the ability to rewind to the beginning of the channel change or a cashed time. |
| Guide indication of shows to be recorded | When in the guide a small indicator or colours change to indicate is a program is scheduled to be recorded |
| Playback of recorded vs live | The ability to select from a recorded (on demand recording) or the user initiated recording. (this maybe difference in recorded vs on demand) under ways to watch |
| Selection of recording from specific channel | When recording all episodes or new episode select either all cannels or specific channel |
| DVR Save | There could be three options for saving a show. Auto-delete after 90 days, save until I delete |
| Ability to save multiple Custom Guides | There is the ability to filter by all, Favourites, Movies, TV Shows, Sport, Kids, Channel# but would like to add the ability to have custom lists |
| Delete continue watching | I would like to delete shows I only watched a few minutes of (suggested functionality additional options selectable using the text option on the remote) |
| indicating un aired eposodes in view all epasodes | Episodes that are available vs unavailable episodes are not differentiated in the selector |
| Alexa enable the application on the firestick / fire tv | Channel / Search / play / Rewind / Fastforward enabled through speech commands on alexa and google |

I agree with the rewind live tv. I miss having 6 "tuners" like tivo bolts have. Dtv recently changed the up/down arrow to feature "recent channels" at the bottom of the screen on the Dtv stream box remote. Be nice if you could rewind a few of those when going to them. Tivo's popup recent channels on the side of the screen that you can rewind 45 minutes.

Will never happen in my honest opinion. But if a miracle takes place those enhancements would probably cost all of us about $20 more a month.

I saw these issues and wanted to offer my opinion of feature requests. I think I have receive several updates to the app as the functionality changes every so often (ie. the left and right changing channel. I did run across an additional issue about when a recording ends and it doesn't go back to live after deleting the recording.
