DIRECTV app Not available to stream on this device error

That’s a known bug in the ‘new’ application DIRECTV launched a few months ago. No one here knows when it will be fixed but it is hopeful that a resolution comes ASAP. If you still have the older ‘DIRECTV for Tablets’ app or ‘DIRECTV on the Go’ app then those still work for watching DVR’d programs. Just be sure you have model HR44 or above and that the DIRECTV GENIE HD DVR is connected to the same network (Wi-Fi) as your phone or tablet.
