DirecTV & Samsung App
I have a samsung qn75q8dtafxza and I downloaded the DirecTV app. I am getting error code 205.4. I have cleared cache and data from the app. I have changed my password.
The App works on fire TV and on my android phone.
I'm lost and starting to think that the Samsung TV smarthub and the DirecTV app don't gel.

You’ve learned that the Samsung TVs perform horribly with DIRECTV STREAM. Your best bet is getting a streaming device like a Fire Stick, Roku, or Apple TV. You may also look at the DIRECTV STREAM box which features a handy remote (similar to that of traditional satellite or cable) as well as faster speeds/reliability than any other streaming box. They are available for purchase online at DIRECTV.com.

I've Uninstalled & reinstalled already. Thank you.
Looks like my 2020 Samsung QLED 4K SmartTv can run every app but DirecTV.
So I'm assuming DYV doesn't make it compatible. Typical DTV.

The Samsung DirecTV Stream app has had many issues since day 1. Most of us have stopped using it and purchased other devices. If you look at previous posts here you will see many complaints about the performance of the app.

Thank you all for you response. I do have a streaming device I can use...just was hoping not to have to use a separate device. Thank you for your time taken to respond.
