What device are you using to stream?  

@Tiger593 as DIRECTV STREAM itself doesn’t have settings to change the quality of the picture, this would be through the device’s settings. But, yes, thanks for mentioning that question. 

In the Dstream app in preferences you will have a choice of Good> Better> Best. If using a streaming device there might be a similar setting.

Dstream app on a firestick gives the choices of good> better> best.

Firestick also gives choices of resolutions with data monitoring.
