Directv stream guide Glitch
My directv stream guide on Samsung just recently started glitching. Guide constantly reverts to a channel I'm not watching. And it always reverts to the present. I can no longer navigate guide without wasting lots of time when browsing

We have DirectTV stream via an app on a Samsung smart TV. OUR GLITCH - Until yesterday, selecting GUIDE took you to a menu where you could select ALL, RECENTS, FAVORITES, SPORTS, etc. Yesterday, that menu screen froze – once there, could not move up, down, select a channel/program, exit that screen, nothing; had to select another app, then return to Direct TV stream. Two other devices in the home that used Roku to access DirectTV stream were working fine. Tried changing batteries in the Samsung remote, turning the Samsung off/on, unplugging/replugging the Samsung, changing some Samsung settings, removing/re-adding DirectTV stream from the app list – no success. Finally, tried logged out of the DirectTV app, then logged back in. Problem solved! Spouse happy.

I have a Samsung as well. I use a Roku because of Samsung’s issues with their apps.
DirecTV stream app also has problems meeting the hardware requirements of most TVs now. Something changed in the last 3 weeks and now the app is as buggy as a beta test. It’s flat out terrible experience now. Guide doesn’t work, navigation is confusing and different one day to the next.
I suggest leaving DirecTV all together. I’ve been a customer since 1995. I’m still using DirecTV to see if they actually fix these issues or just ignore the customer all together.
