DIRECTV Stream - Programming not available and can’t record a thing

Any error codes? Have you tried reinstalling the app and rebooting the DIRECTV STREAM device? Does it work normally on other devices like your phone or tablet?

It doesn’t work on apps, the device, nowhere.  Restarted everything.  I can watch tv fine, but can’t record a single thing.

All it says:

Stream Device: Looks like something went wrong.  We couldn’t set the recording you requested.

App: Programming Not Available.  This program not available to record. And I tried on cell network and on wifi.

Just hooked up to Directv Stream. I can't record. Gives me message "something g went wrong"

What sort of network connection?

Has it ever worked?

What troubleshooting have you tried?

Using box from ATT Directv Stream

ATT internet Fiber connection

just started using stream today 

I restarted but it didn't help

That message typically indicates an issue with your internet connection. How are you connecting the Stream Box to the internet? WiFi? Ethernet?  Where did you get the Stream box?  If it's branded as an AT&T Stream box, then it might not work anymore.

OK. What channel(s) are you trying to record?

If your home location is not properly set, you won't be able to record your local channels. 

She states that she is trying to record from apps. Apps content do not record to the cloud. On content from within the service records to the cloud.
