DirecTV Streaming "Program info" menu not accessible using the "down arrow" key on multiple remotes.
Using the DirecTV Streaming app via an Apple TV 2nd Gen box (to a TV), the "program info" menu on the DirecTV app no longer pops up when using the "down arrow" button on multiple remotes. The down button worked for this task in the past and then one day it did not. Using a regular Apple TV remote, the "program info" menu is still accessible using a down swipe method. Has anyone else reported this experience/is it a known issue?

As an update, I contacted DirecTV support via DM and then telephone but that ended almost immediately when I mentioned that I am using a full-size TV, 3rd-party remotes and an Apple TV stream box with the DirecTV Stream app. In research I have learned that "DirecTV app updates have possibly altered the down button’s function" and that " Recent DirecTV Stream app updates for platforms like Roku, Apple TV, and smart TVs have changed navigation logic, disabling the down-arrow shortcut to the program info and guide". Is this being addressed for future app updates so that the DirecTV Stream program info screen will again be accessible with various 3rd party equipment and remotes?
