DIRECTV suddenly won’t work on AppleTV or with any device on wifi - Error 8003
I spent an hour today on chat with the DIRECTV help. All of my other streaming services work. Teams calls on my computer work. My internet and wifi service are all the same that they were two days ago and everything else works perfectly. DIRECTV is the only thing that stopped working. I did not change any settings.
DIRECTV had me do all this and nothing worked:
- Update Apple TV software
- Restart router 3 times
- Delete and re-install DIRECTV app on Apple TV twice
- Change TV service on Apple TV - Delete DIRECTV and then connect it back
- Restart Apple TV three times
- Change my DIRECTV user name from one email to another
Nothing worked. I am still paying for DIRECTV service - I can’t watch CNN on DIRECTV so I am streaming the news on Hulu.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

A technician was supposed to call but never did. I called back and reached someone, and they couldn’t fix it so I had to cancel the service.
