So I recently added Discovery Plus as a Directv stream add-on. How do I create an account for the Discovery plus app? Usually there is a link to setup and detect my provider subscription.

Yes Agreed! It makes better sense to me now after viewing some of the Discovery plus content via On Demand. It seems to be worth the 2.99 to me compared to using the App. It was just a little deceiving at first, for me anyways.

If anything, Directv and discovery+ need to have a support article that states this. I did what you try to do, and used my Directv credentials to log into the discovery+ site, and it never worked... I had to chat with a discovery+ agent and he helpfully told me that directv stream customers get discovery+ as an ondemand channel. It would have saved some confusion if this was a support article or something.
