Distorted audio on Oxygen channel

Does this happen on any other channels? If not, it’s likely an issue with the Oxygen channel itself. You will need to get in contact with them to fix the situation. 

Let me try to check on my FireTV to see if this is a widespread issue.... I guess it is based on what you're saying @DEmily. DTV Customer reps here might be able to help.

It is still happening. It’s been happening for a while so I’ve tried all the usual 

I have a similar issue on the Game Show Network with the sound becoming distorted almost as if in slow motion.  It's been going on for about a year.   It happens at almost the same time everyday - about 12:15 p.m. and at 7:17 p.m.   I reset my fire stick and it clears up, but what a hassle!  I stopped watching the noon show, but the 7:17 interruption is the regular game show that I watch Monday-Friday.

I have this exact same issue with Oxygen. Using firetv cube 4K. Channel works fine using Roku tv Directv app. 

I have had this same issue for about a year now, I am using the 4K Firestick on a Vizio TV. Usually during the commercials are when the issues arise and if you don’t refresh the channel by basically switching between channels it’ll definitely distort the actual show not that it’s always a garaunteed quick resolve. I am actually watching it right now and the audio stopped working in the middle of someone’s sentence and then came back after they completed it…. It is the only channel that has this issue, there are enough complaints now that DirecTV should try to find a resolution.

Yes. Same method we use. Switch channels. Definitely during commercials- but I wonder if it is because there isn’t really commercials but that screen that says commercial break?

I have actual commercials not the commercial break place holder screen with music so it’s definitely not that…
