DTV jumps to random channels when on pause
New customer using a DTV-issued C71KW-400 receiver. Several times in the course of an evening, if I pause a show, even for a few minutes, when I press play/pause I can't get back to the show and I lose my place. Instead I get random pitches for various premium channels. Sometimes (not always) the message "Press any button to dismiss this screen" will appear, but half the time that promise is not fulfilled and again I am shown some random pitch. Aggrivating!

That's the screen saver kicking in. If you press EXIT, or PLAY, it should return to your paused recording.

Nope. As said above, Play (which is the same button as Pause, at least on my DTVS-supplied controller) is the logical default and what I usually hit. Rather than returnng to the show, it takes me down a rabbit hole of whatever is on the screen, most recently an ad for an HBO product. Generally for screen saver purposes mine goes into a rotation of Google Featured Photos, but maybe one time in 3 it goes to a promotion.
Is it possible in Settings to determine how long it waits before going to screen saver mode? Mine seems to jump in a matter of seconds. Delaying it would definitely help.

Mine goes back to live tv on any button. Do you have screensaver turned off in settings--display?
