DTV Stream (Box to TV) freezes and looses connectivity on one TV when launching Roku on another TV
When watching DTV stream through the DTV hardware on my Living room main TV (Samsung -QLED), it will freeze immediately when I turn on my other TV (Also a Samsung TV) via Roku. I am unable to do anything. The guide does not load.
The network diagnostics just keep running, not even timing out and without error. I have set up via DHCP, Static, etc. I have rebooted my gateway several time all to no avail.
I have reset and restarted my DTV Stream "box" several times. All I get is a screensaver "wallpaper". If I wait long enough, I may get a message "We are experiencing a temporary issue playing this content. Please give it a moment and try again. There is a underscored in blue "retry" to select. After selecting, nothing. It does display a snapshot of a scene from whatever you were watching. Any ideas on what can be done? I need to be able to have both TV's working. I can stream to my phone, then cast to the TV in question, but this is too cumbersome and not very convenient. Note: The hardware is hardwired to my network. Everytthing else works on the network, phones cameras, doorbells, PC, laptop, etc.Thank you

Hello @rck814. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We understand how important if to have the service working fine at the same time in both TVs.
Let's meet in a Direct Message to take a closer look on this. Please check your DIRECTV Message Inbox (It's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums)

Sounds like you may be having an Internet issue, of a weak signal at your devices. When you turn your second device on there isn't enough bandwidth to supply both devices.
You can have a fast Internet service coming into your home, but when you convert it to wifi a lot of factors can affect your signal. If your device is to far away from your wireless router you can have a low signal. Every door, floor or wall it has to go through reduces the strength of the signal.
A good thing to do is to download a signal testing app into your device and check the signal strength at your device. I use Speed Test or Analiti, on my Android devices.
If you see your signal is weak, you may need to purchase a wifi extender to place in the vicinity of your device.
