DVR Recording
Please let me know if there's a fix for DVR recording. I have a Samsung TV and I watch DIRECTV mostly by DVR. When I set the DVR on DIRECTV for my local stations they record, but without sound. Please let me know if anyone can help resolve this issue.

I don't think this is the case. A few weeks ago I was able to use the DVR for recording and the sound was good. This issue with no sound happens on some stations and just started last week. It appears to be a Directv issue, not Samsung.

Are there sound issues on recordings of anything other than the local stations? Have you tried watching one of the records that have a problem on another device - maybe a computer or smartphone - to see if they have sound on that device?

I will record a local station and see if this issue happens on my laptop and smart phone. I will let you know tomorrow.

This started happening to me this week too! I have a Samsung tv and have been able to watch recordings fine until now. Someone else in the house had sound fine on a non Samsung TV. What’s the fix?
