DVR won't record 2 programs with same name at same time?
I want to record the tennis matches on Tennis channel and Tennis channel 2. The channels have simultaneous tournament coverage, airing different matches on each channel. The programs both star at the same time, 12:30pm and have the same name since they are covering the same tournament. When I select to record one I cannot select the other, the only choice is 'cancel recording'. For some reason the DVR thinks they are same program when as I explained, they cover different matches from the same tournament. The only thing I can think of is the DVR looks at the time slot and program name and if they are the same it thinks its already recording it.
This is a pretty serious bug - there should be a way to give each program a unique id instead of matching title and/or time slot. Whatever way they are currently doing it is not reliable. PLEASE FIX!!

- Use the Live Guide: Open the program Guide on your Gemini device or app right before the matches start.
- Record Channel 1: Locate the match on the first Tennis Channel, select it, and press Record.
- Record Channel 2: Move to the second Tennis Channel in the Guide, select the same time slot, and press Record there as well.
- Use Manual Recording: If you still encounter an issue, go to your Recording Manager and use the Manual Recording feature to set up separate recordings for each specific channel and time slot.

Hi, I should have noted this is using the DirecTV app on the Roku device. I am trying to select the programs to record via the guide in much the same manner as you described. The only work-around is to wait until the time slot is active, tune to the other channel and press the record button. But the 2 cannot be setup ahead of time.
A manual record feature would be nice to have on the Roku. Another issue this brings up is with sporting events in general which can easily continue outside of scheduled time slots. When selecting via the guide, it stops the recording at the end of the pre-defined slot even though the game is not finished.
