Error occurs sometime when viewing page
When using a chromium based browser, there are errors that occur quite frequently loading videos. The error that displays is
"This video had some trouble loading. Please try again later."
When looking through the developer tools this call always appears to always be the cause of the problem
https://api.cld.dtvce.com/rights/management/mdrm/vgemultidrm/v1/widevine/activate
A 500 error code is returned along with this message
{"errorReason":"1016","description":"General Error","message":"No cert returned from Widevine server. Status: OK Internal Status: 127"}
Any suggestions on how to prevent this error? It does not occur all of the time. When it does it tends to continually fail. When it works it continually works.
Thanks,
Bobby

It is actually in a custom application written in C# using WebView2, so it uses a lot of the Microsoft Edge library (which is built on Chromium)

Currently, the only compatible browsers with DIRECTV Satellite are:
Chrome (version 59.0.3071 or higher)
Microsoft Edge (version 79.0.309 or higher)
Safari® (latest version)

Yes it appears to work in Chrome and Edge. It also works in our custom browser some of the time. We would obviously prefer it work all of the time. If needed we can adjust different browser settings, there are just not any specific error messages being returned when it is not working.
The failures appear to be rather random.

Julian,
I am using DirecTV streaming. Is that the same as the DIRECTV satellite? The link you provided mentioned installing a DirecTV player, which does not appear to be required for the streaming service.
Thanks.
