Excessive error messages

I get error messages repeatedly when attempting to stream - and usually they are inaccurate. For example, lately I get the error message that says I have tried too many times to sign in. Today I tried to sign in to Direct TV for the 1st time in 4 days and got that message the first time I tried to sign in. Another one I get all the time is that my receiver is being used by another device when it definitely  is not. These messages are causing so many unnecessary delays and aggravation that I’ve finally decided to cancel Direct TV and go with a different provider. I was hoping that something would be done to fix this since I’m clearly not the only one with this problem. But it has only gotten worse over time. Direct TV has some work to do. The streaming service is a disaster.

What device are you using?

Have you tried doing a reset on that device?

Sounds like you already gave up on DirecTV Stream. You should have come here first for some assistance. Perhaps we could have helped. Your issue is not at all common.

Totally agree with you! It’s a freaking disaster and I want my money back! $104.00 Directv! I will be waiting!!
