FF & REW Thumbnails 'Off' on Roku Devices

When fast-forwarding or rewinding, it appears the thumbnail is off right now---for example, let's say you're watching a program that's going to commercial so you decide to FF. When you do so, the thumbnail FF seems to "go back" and begin show frames that you just watched 60-75 seconds ago. When you finally get through the commercials and see your program again and hit play, you're now more farther ahead than normal. The workaround for now seems to be that when you see your program and are ready to resume, you'll want to hit play, then immediately scroll over to the 15-sec back button and hit that 5-6 times. That should put you where you want to be.

Whereas when the thumbnail worked properly, the thumbnail wouldn't "back up" when FF. And when hitting play again, you'd only have to hit that 15-sec back button maybe once or twice.

There doesn't seem to be happening on other devices so far as I can tell.  Is there an easy way to report this to the DTV Stream engineers?

I did not, however, FWIW it appears the issue may be resolved. I'm no longer observing this behavior as of this morning.

I'm having this exact issue also (using a Roku Ultra), and it was still present as of last night. It does not affect all recordings, but I haven't figured out any commonality yet as to what it does affect and what it does not. This issue seemed to have started occurring a couple week ago. I've rebooted the Roku and noted it has not updated from its current 10.5 build in months now. I did notice the DirecTV app go from a 3.7 to a 3.8 version, but I recall that happening a couple weeks before this issue cropped up. So likely this is some back-end issue, and hopefully DirecTV can figure out and get this fixed...
