Gemini Air slows Internet Drastically

Just started using 2 Gemini Air devices a month ago. One seems to work fine the other one not so good. The situation is this, I have a 1G fiber service. The Gemini Air is attached to a new Samsung, after watching a ball game for about a hour my iPad which i use for work related things starts to slow. I generally have 650-750Mbps. I’ll check my speed and it’s down below 15 Mbps. I’ve tried isolating the Gemini on its own 2.4 and 5.8 network that hasn’t helped. When I turn the TV off my speed immediately jumps back up 650-750Mbps. Anyone run into a situation like this? I’m about ready to try something like Roku to see if problem still exists.
