Get asked over and over again if I want to use Google Assistant
I keep getting asked if I want to use Google Assistant. It just pops up randomly in the middle of watching a TV program. When it happens I am just watching, I am not using my remote or anything. It's really annoying. Every time I say that I don't want to use it, another box comes up to verify, and I again say I don't want to use it.
Maybe an hour later or so it can randomly just pop up again. It also then interrupts my TV programming, and I have to go back and start over by finding it in my library.
I've restarted the system and this has not helped.

Well yah of course you need to login for the feature to work properly. That's why it kept asking you to login. It's always been like that. That's also true for any device you use Google asst on.....for example a phone.

So what finally solved it for us is getting rid of one of the remotes. I pulled the batteries out of one of our two remotes and the problem stopped. When I put the batteries back in that particular remote, the problem started popping up again. So I ditched that remote and bought a new one. And now the problem is completely gone. 🤷🏻♀️
I should note that the problem happened even if we weren't touching that remote. It could be sitting on the table and the problem would pop up.
Someone mentioned that they were on the phone with support and had to link a Google account. I just wanted to note that we already had one linked.
I hope this helps someone. I appreciate everyone else's suggestions.
