Hearing two audio streams at the same time
There seems to be a new bug introduced in the last two weeks. When we first turn on an Apple TV box, before selecting a DirecTV channel, we hear audio from a previously selected TV channel. Then when we choose a TV channel, we hear two audio streams at once. The fastest cure is to go back to the home Apple TV screen and re-select DirecTV, or we can also pick a new TV channel, then go back to the one we want. This happens on all four of our Apple TVs.

I’ve reproduced this one only when watching multi view - one of those tiles’ audio keeps playing after changing channels - is this happening to you on multiview or any channel outside multiview ?

Not on multiview. It happens when we first turn on the Apple TV and try to select a channel in DirecTV.

Thanks for flagging this, @eatapc. We’ve seen a few other reports about an audio glitch on Apple TVs, and our team is working on it. If you haven’t yet, please try uninstalling and then reinstalling the DIRECTV App — that usually helps. Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team

Hi @eatapc our team is aware and has been working on a fix that is currently rolling out and will finish by the beginning of September. You can force refresh our app in the Apple App Store.
