Hmm… we can’t reset your password We don’t have the account details needed to complete your request.
DIRECTV Stream. I logged in Thursday. Now it won't accept my password (stored in LastPass) and I cannot reset it.
Note - I originally submitted this Thursday on the AT&T Community Forums site...I selected the menu option to "ask a question", selected a category of TV but no topics came up in the drop down, and because Topic is a required field, I changed the Category to Email so I could select a topic. The AT&T employee responded with the following:
"Just to let you know, support for DIRECTV Services has moved to the DIRECTV Community Forums site. If you slide over forums.directv.com, you’ll land in the right place. 😊"
I could not find a DIRECTV forum. At the parent "Community Forums", there are the following options
Wireless
Internet
Home Phone
Clubhouse
TV
The option for TV has two categories, U-verse TV and Max.
There is no drop down topic for logging in, so I'm selecting "Watching U-verse TV"
After submitting it I tried copy/paste "forums.directv.com" as the URL and landed here. I deleted the second submission. Really not a very user friendly navigation method.
Question - no tags for "logging in" or "password"?

Well, AT&T and DirecTV have been 2 different companies for over a year. AT&T is not involved with DirecTV. No need to even mention them anymore.
Can't respond to the issue with Lastpass. Can you log in to your DirecTV account?

I mentioned LastPass only to reinforce that I was using previously saved user ID and password. There's no issue with LastPass.
No, I cannot log into DirecTV. I'm getting the above error message.

@pvsteinmann - You can't "submit" things to the forums. They are not Support - they are for customers to help other customers. As @bcbsncjlj indicates, if you have an account issue, your best bet is to contact DirecTV support (not AT&T support).
And the AT&T rep specifically said to go to "forums.directv.com" to find the DirecTV forums - why did you continue trying to find it under the AT&T forums?
All that said - what are you trying to log into - the directv.com site? If so, what device (PC, phone, something else) are you using to access it? Which browser? How are you trying to change your password?
