I have Direct Stream TV with a wireless device. I keep getting a care code 601 when I attempt to enter the email and password associated with my account. The receiver has a blue light and a green light. I have another wireless device cinnected that is working fine.
I got this error installing DirecTV Stream device while I still had DirecTV satellite. One TV had no problem installing. The other got a 601 error. The only difference between the TV's is that the one with the problem was located where DirecTV satellite came into the house. It had a small box behind it that is connected to satellite cable and has a label of Energy Inserter. When I pulled the power off of this box, the installation of DirecTV stream finished great. I plugged the Energy Inserter box back into the electrical outlet and now I have both DirecTV Stream and DirecTV Satellite. My intent is to cancel satellite in a few days after I decide that the streaming platform is working well. Hope that helps.
