How do I record only MY baseball team (instead of every MLB game)?

That answer has absolutely nothing to do with our question. 

My old DTV sat receiver had the ability to pick sports teams and it would give option of games only, any related show, etc.   Inability to create a season pass for individual teams may be a deal killer.  Seems like such on obvious omission, too.   Was not a problem on YTTV.  May have to go back.  

I had to go thru the next few weeks of games and manually record each one. I've never seen a service not let u add a sports team for a season pass.

Responses from DIRECTVhelp (like their ATTHelp predecessors) rarely are helpful or have anything to do with the question asked.  Neither knowledge nor reading skills seem to be their forte.  

As far as recording teams - no, the DVR system doesn't provide that feature.  (I've certainly seen other services that don't provide it, so I wouldn't consider it a standard, but it isn't rare.). Like many other features that would be nice but weren't added under AT&T, we can hope that the new company will put some effort into providing it.  (Though I'm not holding my breath...)
