How to turn off voice descriptions and voice guide?

This week voice descriptions and voice guide features started showing up on Directv Stream. This means a voice was heard narrating what was visually happening on TV programs. We noticed them on NBC Wednesday night. Thursday, on NBC, a weather alert crawler was running across the bottom of the screen and an automated voice read all the words of the crawler -- and this voice completely covered up program dialog. Both of these voice tracks were happening only on Directv's feed -- and were NOT happening on the local tv station's on-air feed. These feeds were not wanted and made the tv programs unwatchable -- especially the weather alert (which was for a frost alert). How can these voice feeds be turned off? I can't find a setting that would turn them off.
