I cannot login to Direct Streaming with the box provided by AT&T.

I cannot login to Direct TV Streaming with the box provided by AT&T. They sent me a new box, same problem. Tomorrow (Monday 11/22)I'll delete the app & then reload it. If problem persists, I'll call for a tech service rep to come to my house. If that fails, I'll go back to my previous carrier!

Your post is a little confusing, if you are using the DirecTV Stream Box there is no app to delete. You just sign onto it with the sign on and password for your account. What app are you talking about deleting?

Also, Directv Stream doesn't send tech people to your home. Directv Satellite does and you already posted this issue in another thread.

Have the same problem. Cannot log into DTV streaming. get Care Code 500.

I would reset the box to factory settings and try again. Care Codes reflect errors with DirecTV not DirecTV Stream. I see where you posted another entry for DirecTV on your phone. do you have a DirecTV Stream subscription or DirecTV. Credentials are not cross-platforms.

Thanks for your response.  I currently have a directv Stream subscription started Nov 6.  Previously had directv satellite subscription terminated same day.  These 2 accounts plus ATT wireless are all linked.  Tech support has been trying to unlink them for past 2 weeks in the belief that old sub is blocking access to new sub, leading to CC500 message.  Stream works on internet connections but not on phones, tablets, device driven TVs that require app.

Change your email (userid) with directv stream. I've seen others do that with success.

Tried that, but all account IDs change when one is changed.  Can't even change secondary email independently on sub accounts.  Tech seems to think software has to be updated to complete the ATT/DirecTV split.
