Incorrect time on guide on new Direct TV stream app

Thank you for your response,  but that's not necessarily true. Guide time is correct on main TV, this issue is on TV in bedroom and based the example given, the time difference is 11 hrs behind. I'm in central time zone and at time of post it was 9 p.m. and guide was showing 10 a.m. earlier that day. 

What device are you using to stream? Is the device time setting correctly set for your Central Time Zone? Have you tried to re-install the app? All info is correct for me.

Samsung TV, it is set for central time and I've deleted and re-installed the app 3 times.

I had the same problem and found a solution in my case. The problem also makes it impossible to jump to anything shown in the "watch now" section. 

I run DirecTV Stream app on several devices in my house. The guide timeline being off was only on one tv. I had configured one Apple TV with a custom DNS to have the ability to watch certain sports that were blacked out in my region. The DirectTV app sets the guide time to the time zone of the IP location of your streaming device. In my case the guide was always off by 2 hours on that one Apple TV. Setting the DNS back to Automatic in my Apple TV returned the IP to a local address and the guide again showed the correct time. 

@pbmunkey thanks for that suggestion, could definitely come in handy for the next person that didn't know about that. Yes, DIRECTV STREAM does indeed use your IP to figure out the time zone. As a side note, if you are connected to a VPN on a streaming device then that will also affect the time shown on DTV STREAM
