Is 200 Mbps enough for DirecTV stream?

I often get the dreaded "spinning wheel of death".

You folks all know what that is, I'm certain...

Isn't 200 Mbps more than enough speed to stream on a Smart TV??

I've performed all of the "fixes", such as...

Sign out/sign in

Reset My Internet

Restart my Smart TV

Keep TV Apps Updated

Any input would be much appreciated!

I would think about getting an external device such as a Roku, Fire Stick, or even a Directv Streaming box it would probably clear up your spinning wheel problem.

It seems that most of the TVs that have apps built in seem to have problems streaming Directv Stream so switching to an external device would help clear up most streaming issues.

What streaming device are you using?

How is the device connected to your home network? WiFi or Ethernet?

What is the true download speed at your streaming device? WiFi signals can weaken considerably if the device is far from your WiFi router.

@CiRcLeOfDeAtH22

When I first started using Dstream had the same problem with excellent bandwidth. Over a short time the spinning wheel lessened to the point now almost never. I use AFTV4k max.

What is the true download speed at your streaming device?

Unfortunately, this does not resolve my issue.

Oh well...still much cheaper than cable television.
