Is there a way to delete unused apps?

How can unused apps be deleted? If not, would the best option be to change Permissions to No?

Yes and No. You can uninstall any app that you have installed, but the default ones that came installed in your DirecTV Stream box can't be uninstalled. But as far as the default installed apps, you can free up space by Clearing the Data and Cache, on each of them. You can also uninstall any updates for them. Not sure if removing permissions will free up any space though.
This can all be done on the apps menu at "Settings/System/Apps & Storage/Apps", then go to each app then go to each app that you want to change.

If you go thru the apps that you can't uninstall completely---uninstall the updates that saves a lot of space. You have to be sure to turn off auto update in google play store.

@zovuna Yep that happens to me too in. All I do is "uninstall updates" and then turn off auto update on the google play store. Clearing the cache saves very little space. Uninstalling updates restores the apps to factory default and saves a ton of space. My box was down to like 3.4 gb of space now I have it up to 4.7 gb.
