Jerky video

A few days back the video started going jerky.  Sound is fine.  This only occurs on the Dtv app. There are no issues with other apps via Roku.

You seem to ignore the fact that this issue only occurs when using Dtv. All other Roku apps work just fine.  Explain that one, please.

DirecTV Stream isn't the same as most other Roku apps. Live streaming uses different technology than most server-based services. Sorry I don't have a definitive solution for you. But that fact you're having this issue when others don't suggests an issue on your end.

Other streaming apps, bypassing Roku and going direct to TV or AV have no issues.  I fail to see how this would be on my end when the only issues are with Dtv streaming.

What do you mean bypassing Roku and going straight to TV? You need a streaming device to use apps?

Both tv and the AV receiver have apps, both are hard-wired with Ethernet.

I can watch streaming content via those rather than roku.  But, yes, cannot watch Dtv that way

Well, no response from Dtv so we'll be cancelling our contract and looking for another provider.
