LG TV will not open to default to stream Directv
Want to have our new 2025 LG TV start up to stream Directv. We have a Bose Ultra Smart soundbar connect to the HDMI arc input. We are using WiFi to stream Directv. We are unable to download the Directv stream app; when we attempt to sign on we just get the spinning circle of doom says to wait - then nothing.

Hi, @Justin_G. While you're able to download the DIRECTV App and experience looping when signing in, its availability still depends on your TV’s webOS app store and region. Let's try these troubleshooting steps:
Close and reopen the DIRECTV app, then retry signing in again.
If it doesn't work, check for DIRECTV app updates and update if available.
Uninstall and then reinstall the DIRECTV app.
Restart your TV, then retry once again.

No, it's not connected to Wi-Fi or a soundbar. On newer LG TVs, the DIRECTV Stream app sometimes freezes, especially when logging in with the spinning circle. This means the app is not fully supported yet. The best option would be to use an external solution such as Roku, Apple TV, Elmedia to automatically launch DIRECTV.
