Live local channels at two locations
I have a residence and a lake house that are different locations but each get the same local networks. Can I use the same DirecTv Streaming account to get local programming at both locations or do I have to have two separate accounts?

It depends on what streaming device you're using. For example, when we're traveling our Roku always provides our home location channels (Seattle), but my iPad provides the locals for our actual location (assuming DirecTV provides those locals).

By default, you will receive your home based locals if the app can not identify your location. Streaming devices like Roku and Fire Sticks do not have location services or GPS. Mobile devices (cell phones, tablets, or PC) do.

We have two homes we use the Osprey DTV stream box. We get the locals for the locations where each receiver is. But we have a Roku for our rv and it shows the locals for the accounts billing address.

The DIRECTV stream device provides the local channels based on your location. If the device location can't be determined, then it will fail back to the customer’s billing ZIP code.
Let us know the ZIP code associated with the local channels you want to get from, and we'll figure out what's happening to your programming.
We'll be waiting for you.

If I turn off location services on my ipad, iphone, or pc, will local channels be based on my billing zip code?

If we turn off the location from the location from our devices the local channels will be automatically set based on the billing zip code.
