Losing Internet Connection

I have 4 DTV Streaming Devices, the one in the living room, which is located within inches of my wifi router, almost daily loses its connection. The others in the bedroom, kitchen and one outside do not have this issue. Is this the location of this device or is it just faulty? I have only had these devices for about a month.

If your device is inches from router, hardwire it. If the problem persists it is your ISP feed.

@kboer001 I've read having a device too close to a wifi router can sometimes cause interference with some devices. I have a Samsung tv inches away from my router and it constantly disconnects from the 5ghz connection--so I have to use the 2.4 one.

Thank you for the response. I will try the hard wire and see if this fixes the problem. I don't see the ISP problem if the other devices aren't having the issue. Thanks again.

Thank you for the response! Since the Device is so close to my router I am going to hard wire to see if it solves the issue. I was really trying to lose the wires but on this TV its really not that big a problem. I will keep your experience with this interference in mind. Thanks again!

Does your router have both a 2.4 and 5? If so, I'd try the one you aren't using.
