MSNBC is constantly buffering?

MSNBC is constantly buffering when they go to commercial just seemed to start today, July 7,2022 on all TV's with Direct TV Stream.  I have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it did not correct it.  Every other channel I have tried seems to work perfectly such as CNN, Hallmark......

What devices are you using to stream?  Is this happening on all your devices?  Does this happen all the time or only during a certain time?  Because it could be something as simple as your internet speed is slowing down just enough to make it buffer?  I would check your internet speed during the time that this is happening to make sure your internet isn't dropping or your speed isn't slowing down because of usage in your area!

You can check your internet speed for free by going to www.speedtest.net

I'm using a Firestick.  Today is the first day it has happened and only on MSNBC.

Just so you know a while ago there were a lot of people have issues with viewing Directv Stream on Fire devices.  One thing that I know you can do is make sure that your Firestick's software is up to date because that can sometimes cause viewing issues with streaming Directv Stream.  But if it is only doing it on the one channel it could just be a lag in Directv programming on what you are trying to watch.

No issues with MSNBC for me. I am using a Dtv Stream box and also a Firestick.

Still having the issue tonight.  It's so strange because it only happens on the commercials on MSNBC.  Just started this morning.  I've restarted the fire stick and uninstalled and reinstalled the application. I can't figure it out but I guess I should be happy it's only one channel and the commercials.

Yeah I tried all of that first thing this morning it didn't help with this issue and what is so strange is the normal programing and my Pc are working perfectly.  It's just the one channel MSNBC and their commercials.  I've never seen anything like it.

I'm watching Joe Reid right now on my firestick-- let me know next time it happens to you. Is the buffering also happening on MSNBC recordings?

You said earlier "all tv's"---do you have more than 1 firestick? When you say buffering--what is happening. Are you getting the spinning circle?

It just happened again with that last set of commercials.  That in turn causes the audio to be out of synch with the picture when the show returns.  Then I go back and restart my Fire Stick and it's back to normal for right now.  I have not seen a spinning circle.  The voices and video of the commercials are in slow motion and you can't really understand them not that I care about commercials.  It is happening on both of my TV's but I only have one of them on at any given time.  Right now Joy's show is totally normal.  I'll let you know if the commercial goes wacky again.

So then you have two firesticks? Are they 4k or 4k Max? Is the issue also happening on MSNBC recordings?

Didn't do it during the commercials for me. Some are on right now. Is your Dtv app on your firesticks running software version 4.0.32.37007

I don't know how I tell that.  Let me look around.  The first few commercials were good but when we got to the dental commercial that just finished it all went into slow motion.

Software version is under the gear icon--settings.

Do you have two firesticks? Are they 4k or 4k Max?

Try recording something on MSNBC. Then when you see it on live tv---look at the recording for that exact same time and see if it happens on a recording as well.

It's Fire TV Stick 4K but I don't have a 4K TV but this has not happened before and I've used the same one for several years.  I'm recording now but this time even though the commercials were out of synch when I went back to Joy Reid she is in synch for now.

Nope that is the operating system of your firestick. Go into the app--settings and check the app version.

Also--again--do you have 2 firesticks? 4k or 4k MAX?
