MSNBC is constantly buffering?

MSNBC is constantly buffering when they go to commercial just seemed to start today, July 7,2022 on all TV's with Direct TV Stream.  I have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it did not correct it.  Every other channel I have tried seems to work perfectly such as CNN, Hallmark......

I've asked you several times if you have 2 firesticks but you never answer. Also--that software version you gave is the firestick operating system not the App. You have to check the app settings for that. Under the gear icon/settings. Also record something on MSNBC and when it does it on live tv--check the recordings.

Same as yours 4.0.32.37007 -  I just saw the box that says Contact Developer.  Should I do that?

There is one in the family room that is 4K and one in the bedroom which I haven't been messing with tonight.

But you have seen the issue on both firesticks?

Try recording something on MSNBC. The same show you watch live. When it does it on the commercial --check the exact same time on the recording. See if it's on both.

It has been happening on both TV's I'm checking the recording right now.  Going through the commercials so far hasn't happened on the commercials on the recording.  Good idea it did not happen on the recording.  It's just fine!  Now I'll go back to live recording and see what's happening.  Thanks for all your help and sorry to be a pain.

So, then there's obviously nothing wrong with the channel. It's something about your app/setup. It's probably happening on more than 1 channel --maybe one you don't watch. Not sure what else to suggest.

Thank you so much for helping I'll keep trying to figure out what's going on if it continues.  The good news is the other channels I watch are all fine.  I don't normally watch that many.  Have a good evening!

I have had this issue (I think it’s what you’re describing) with Game Show Network for several months, and now it just started with MSNBC. When a commercial comes on the sounds jitters and everything slows down. You can move up or down a channel and then back, but that only tends to fix it until the next commercial break. Some have said it just does this when you break to a local commercial. I just tried the process below, with some success so far, from another thread on this problem … for what it’s worth.

“Having the same issue. I click on the middle of the channel changer button and then click on CC/Audio on the bottom of the screen and then toggle over to audio and click on alternate and it fixes it until you turn your TV off and then you have to do it again, very annoying”.

Strangely enough at least for today it just stopped happening when I turned on the station today.  So I'm hoping they found the issue and fixed it.  Thanks for the suggestion though.  If it happens again I'll try this solution.
