Multiple Instances of Same Channel In Guide - Incorrect Channel Records in DVR

When I set Sacramento Kings games to record, there are three instances of the same channel number in my guide (Channel 698 - NBC Sports California, NBC Sports California Plus, and NBC Sports California Plus 2). The DVR "chooses" which of channel #698 to record and when I select playback in the DVR, I get three hours of a blue screen with the message "CURRENT PROGRAMMING NOT AVAILABLE". 

1. Why are there multiple channels in the guide with the same channel number?

2. How do I get the DVR to record the right instance?

NBCSports Bay Area have always had multiple channels like this.  On DirecTV Satellite they were 696, 696-1 and 698, 698-1 and 698-2.  For some reason the Stream system just ignores the dash numbers.  If you tune to the channels you'll see NSBAHD and NSBAPlusHD for 696 and NSCAHD, NSCAalt and NSCAalt2 for 698 instead of the numbers in the Guide.

No, not confusing at all.

To set a manual recording find it in the Guide and hit the record button.  If you're trying to set one like could be done on the Satellite side where you can pick a channel and date/time, no, that feature isn't available here.

1. let's find a fix for DIRECTV STREAM device issues here, since every channel should have its own numeration.

Also, check for recent updates on the DIRECTV STREAM service.

2. I recommend that you manually set the recording for the game you want to watch, since some times the channel's programming doesn't show the name of the teams will play, only generic info.

Sergio, thank you for your response.

1. Your statement "every channel should have its own numeration" seems to be inconsistent with what I've experienced since I signed up with DIRECTV STREAM (see attached screen capture). In my instance, the regional sports channels use duplicate channel numbers. This is consistent across devices (web page, Amazon FireTV, DIRECTV STREAM device. I clicked on each of the links you provided an none seems to change the occurence of duplicated channel numbers for these regional sports channels.

2. You recommend I "manually set the recording for the game". I was under the impression setting manual recordings is not possible with DIRECTV STREAM. How can I set manual recordings?
