My directv stream app is not giving me Dolby digital 5.1
DD 5.1 comes through on Netflix and prime apps on my Samsung tv but not my directv stream app. Can anyone help? I am connected via an hdmi cable in the arc input but have unchecked the auto-e-arc box as per the Sonos customer service team. The “pass through” option on my Samsung token (2023) tv is greyed out

What streaming app are you using? The Samsung DirecTV Stream is known to have lots of issues. A stand-alone Roku, Firestick, or Apple TV device is much better.

Interesting ok, so if I buy one of those devices and access directv through that, it should work better right? Sorry for the lame question, I haven’t suited one of those before
