Need to update location on Roku but there is no location option
Recently moved and I am trying to update my location on DirecTV Streaming service. I use Roku device. I open DirecTV Streaming App, go to settings, preferences but there is no location settings option. I also tried on my laptop and mobile device and no location setting option.

Why? They do not use that setting anyway with Roku or Fire Stick. Local channel availability is based on your billing ZIP Code and market area. You need a device that has location services or GPS. Did you change your biking CC information to the new location? If so you may need to reset your modem and router.

This is off of the DirecTV website:
Update your DIRECTV STREAM home network
Make sure you only do this if you’ve changed your internet service provider or moved. You can only do it 4 times in a 12-month period.

Most of these comments are directed towards the proprietary DirecTV Stream box. Also you must have an older Roku that does not have that setting - mine do not either. Also the rule is listed at https://www.directv.com/support/stream/article/KM1228303/
