Netflix comes up after pause

It's a known glitch. I've reported it to the Dtv Stream engineering department. Easiest fix is, when you are done using an app, hit the apps button the remote---highlight the app---push the 3 dots on the remote and force quit the app. That's what I do...and never see an app start when I pause. It happens with any most recent app. Not just Netflix. So whatever app you use--force quit it after.

Ludwick577.  You mentioned that before when I posted.  Did not work for me.  Direct TV Stream tech support actually sent me 2 new boxes.  I say "new" but the manufacturing dates where prior to the two I returned.  Anyway, problem still persists for me.  And, it's getting so bad that it happens NUMEROUS times throughout the day.  They know about it but won't admit to it nor fix it.  Unbelieveable!  It's beyond aggravating.

P.S.  Mik.  It not only happens when you PAUSE but even while watching Live TV, Recorded Programs, etc.

It works for me. Are you remembering to force quit every app you use? Each time? You can also temporarily fix the issue by going to settings---system--apps/storage---and force stopping the apps you are having an issue with. You can't force quit the apps just once. You have to do it every time you use them.

Also, if I remember correctly---Netflix itself has an exit you can use to get out of the app. Make sure to use that as well.
