NFL Network available in Sports Pack?

I am seeing from the description for sports pack that NFL Network and NFL Redzone are on Stream if u subscribe to the sports pack as it lists it as channels in the package. Can anyone confirm this? I would get it but it is $14.99 a month.

Just checked under my account and it sure looks like at the bottom there is a "Sports Pack" to add for $14.99/month and includes NFL Network and RedZone. I've never had satellite service. I'll absolutely be adding this in the fall once the season starts. This is great news unless it's a glitch!

That is what it says. Wish they would announce it as being true or not.

Interestingly, a number of the channels that they indicate are part of the sports pack are currently included in the standard packages.  If the sports pack is actually real, I wonder if this means they are going to remove those channels from the standard packages.

Who knows! But if they do move them, I bet the current subscription rates want change.

@Jrandomuser Yeah I don't know, but I saw that too. All I really want is RedZone and NFL Network for the games they have, which I suspect that's what most others want too. That's complete worth $15/month to me during the NFL season. Hoping these are just the rumblings before it's all announced (like the 4K stuff).

Well it makes me want to drop to Entertainment and then add Sports Pack.

"...will add distribution of NFL Network via DIRECTV STREAM and U-verse.

Also, DIRECTV will now for the first time carry NFL RedZone across all platforms. Both NFL Network and NFL RedZone will be available on all platforms in the coming weeks."

YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Wonder if certain packages (Ultimate and Premier) are going to get NFL network included. Sport Pack says it includes MLB Network, NBA tv, Golf, but Ultimate and Premier already have those included.

I just signed up for the sports package as of yet the NFL network is not included as it is not yet showing up in my channel lineup even though it says it's included in the description for the sports package.  I believe they are going to be adding this very soon though as it does read when you go to add this channel that it is included with the package.  Not sure if the customer service rep I talked with today was being honest but was told they are supposed to add it on Thursday.  From what I understand the ultimate and the premiere packages should include the NFL network but who knows if the information that I was told will be true as the Directv customer service reps are known for not telling the truth.

Someone from Directv just told me that NFL Network is not allowing shows to be recorded. Is that correct? I have purchased the sports package, refreshed the system, unplugged, etc. but the screen still says my receiver isn't authorized to record that channel. All other channels work fine. Anyone else with this issue?

No idea. Nothing worth recording at this point

I get NFL Network via my package, not the Sports Pack - no idea if that should make a difference. But I am able to record a running show and schedule future recordings.  That doesn’t prove that some future content might not be recordable.  However - you say “receiver”.  Do you have streaming service or satellite?

I have satellite and added the Sports Pack. I've been able to record NFL Network in the past when it was in my package and can record other channels. I get blackout restrictions, but I've never heard of any recording type restriction.
